About GBC Kids

Our mission is to give every child an opportunity to clearly hear the message of how much Jesus loves them and His passionate desire for them to have eternal life by simply believing in Him alone. We place an emphasis on training our little ones to live according to God’s Word and how a joyful life is a life of obedience to Him. We encourage the kids to be “Little Lights” that shine Jesus to a world that desperately needs Him.

Sunday Mornings (Nursery – 5th Grade)

Our nursery is open to children from birth to potty trained. We have a secure environment with lots of toys and interaction!

Pre-K – 5th Grade Lil’ Lights meets during our Church Service. They are invited to participate in songs, Bible stories, scripture memory, activities, and crafts designed to lead them to Jesus and a life lived in faithfulness to Him.

A Secure Environment

We place a strong emphasis on security for our children. We maintain a safe environment where our children can learn about Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him.

We do this by carefully evaluating everyone who will be with our children and having them complete an application and background check. They must also be regular attendees of Grace Bible Church.

We require all workers to read and sign our Handbook for Children’s Ministry and abide by all the policies we have in place for our children’s protection. This maintains a peaceful, safe environment for our children and workers to grow in meaningful relationships with each other.

Volunteer

We would love to have you volunteer in children’s ministry! To get started, fill out an application and background check form. Please return the completed forms to Chelsea Schlesiger.

After we process your background check and application, you’ll meet with one of our children’s ministry staff, review the children’s ministry handbook, review and sign our doctrinal statement, and shadow a class.

yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."
