Want to Volunteer/Serve?

We’re excited to share some of the opportunities to serve our church community at Grace Bible Church. There are several areas you can serve, including:

  • Welcome Team/Greeters: Greet and welcome attendees, making them feel comfortable as they arrive, and provide assistance or information as needed.
  • Coffee Set-Up: Prepare coffee and refreshments before service, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for fellowship.
  • Ushering: Assist with seating and communion distribution.
  • Worship Team: Support the congregation in musical worship by singing or playing instruments during services or special events.
  • Media Team (Audio/Visual/Livestream): Manage sound, lighting, visuals, and livestreams during services, ensuring quality production and accessibility for both in-person and online attendees.
  • Children’s Ministry: Teach, guide, and supervise children during services and/or Sunday School, providing fun and engaging activities that are prepared by the Children’s Ministry Director.
  • Care Meals: Coordinate and possibly deliver meals to GBC individuals or families in need (i.e., new baby, health crisis, etc.)
  • Communion Set-Up: Prepare and arrange the elements for communion before services.
  • Building/Repairs Team: Assist with maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects around the building to keep the facility safe, functional, and welcoming.

Assure (First Step to Life)

Assure seeks to be the first step for women facing an unplanned pregnancy, transforming their fear into confidence by addressing their physical, spiritual and emotional needs, and equipping them to make healthy life-affirming decisions.  Assure also partners to provide training to other pregnancy centers (nationally and internationally) in implementing AWC’s effective patient process.  To learn more, visit www.firststeptolife.com

Daily Christian videos for God’s curious kids (and adults, too!). Douglas is a thoughtful little puppet who loves to share the truths he’s learning in Scripture in a way that’s fun and easy to understand. Good News Jail & Prison Ministry

New Community, as an extension of Good News Jail & Prison Ministry, is dedicated to the spiritual & social renewal among women in Omaha who are pursuing successful re-entry into society post-incarceration. 

Grace Evangelical Society

Projects4Missions

Projects4Missions exists to support missionaries by providing hands-on help with practical needs, allowing them to stay focused on their ministry work. Through organized work parties and short-term service projects, the ministry creates accessible opportunities for Christians—especially those with limited time—to get involved in meaningful, mission-focused support. Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child

An international relief organization.  Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ.  They ship simple gifts outside the US to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the US.  To learn more, visit www.samaritanspurse.org
